Our members' voices are vital to the mission of our BECTU Branch.
Our working groups focus on specific documentation and industry data which can assure standards of pay, terms and ongoing training for Intimacy Coordinators throughout the UK.
Under 18’s & Intimacy - Running for a 2nd year
This year's aims: To continue working on creating an internal guidance for working with intimacy and Under 18's.
Last year’s aims: To collaborate w/ relevant industry bodies to create guidance(s) around the safeguarding, associated risks, and specific requirements involved when working with under 18s in scenes of an intimate nature.
Verticals and Intimacy Coordination
Working Group
Aim: To research and build a clear, shared understanding of intimacy coordination in Verticals, including the regulatory and legal contexts, current working practices (including rates), and how the branch can support ICs working in Verticals.
